A quartermaster is the chief of a crewship’s staff in any moment of spacing life. The quartermaster supports and directs the crew for maximum effect during shore leave, while sailing across the stars, and can rally the crew in deadly ship-to-ship combat.

Talents

Each Job provides a series of Talents representing the special abilities granted by this specific training. As a Character progresses through Job Ranks, more and more Talents become available.

SKILL SAVE	Rank: 1 Watchful Eye 3 weeks Cooldown Automatically passes a failed Ship Ops test in any situation, including deep space travel, landing, or hyperwarp jumps
SKILL SAVE	Rank: 1 Stern Leader 3 weeks Cooldown Automatically passes a failed Command test in any situation, including deep space travel, mutiny or during a mission
PAY	Rank: 1 Perceptive Boss 9 weeks Cooldown When paying your crew, your intuition grants a 30% + Command Skill chance to learn hidden Trait from among your crew
DESERTER	Rank: 1 Contract Bargain 3 weeks Cooldown When landing in a zone, the highest level crew member who attempts to abandon the ship reconsiders, but their salary increases by $2
SKILL SAVE	Rank: 1 Baleful Grimace 3 weeks Cooldown Automatically passes a failed Intimidate test in any situation, including deep space travel, mutiny, or during a mission

	Rank: 5 Rallying Cry 6 weeks Cooldown Buffs Ship with 20% Protection against Crew and Morale Dmg/Turn for next 2 Turns, Purges your Ship's Crew of any Crippling Effects, Restores Intimidate Skill worth of Morale to 20 Crew
MISSION	Rank: 5 Reliable Hand 3 weeks Cooldown When accepting a Mission, increases payment by 10% + Intimidate Skill
MUTINY	Rank: 5 Calming Speech 13 weeks Cooldown Speaking as a leader but also as a member of the crew, the quartermaster knows what to say. The mutiny ends and Morale of the entire crew is increased by 40 + Command skill

CONSCRIPT	Rank: 8 Welcoming Conscription 3 weeks Cooldown When conscripting enemy to serve in your crew after a ship victory, new crew member starts with higher Morale and does not gain new negative Traits
XENO	Rank: 8 Call to Arms 6 weeks Cooldown When encountering a xeno ship in space combat, prevents Morale loss on up to Intimidate Skill number of crew

ON DEATH	Rank: 11 Second Shadow 9 weeks Cooldown Watching crew like a hawk, saves a life during ship combat, blockade, spying, patrol, salvage or black market. Crew member is restored to HP equal to Command Skill + 3 x Medical Rating of onboard medical components
